I am glad I found the link to your blog on BCB message board. I have started to make changes in the way I shop for food as well. I have not been able to go as far as you have in eating locally but I have really changed the way we shop and eat. We grew a mess of a garden, joined a CSA and choose local products over conventional when available and affordable in our small budget. If more people could experience the tastes and smells of food that is grown in a "clean" and natural way they would make these changes too. There is just nnothing like eating food that was just pulled by your own hands from the dirt (or recently picked by some one you trust). Meat from animals raised naturally on pasture is just so much tastier, and the eggs that come from my own chickens surpass the poor excuses sold as eggs in the grocery store. I am so happy to see that you have adapted the local way of eating to ww, it helps me know it can be done. If you can fit local goat cheese into your day so can I!

Good for you for making the change to eating local food! I completely agree that the more people experience good local food, the more they'll enjoy it too. It definitely can be done, and happily.
